Michigan football coach Lloyd Carr has scheduled a news conference for 10 a.m. ET Monday, when he is expected to discuss his future, according to multiple Internet reports. It has been widely speculated that Carr will announce his retirement.
On Saturday in Ann Arbor, Mich., Carr's Wolverines lost to archrival Ohio State for the fourth year in a row. Carr is 6-7 against the Buckeyes in his 13 seasons as Michigan coach, and he is 121-40 overall. Michigan won a share of the national championship under Carr in 1997.
